I will be displaying my 9×12 foot oil painting “Salton Sea” at the Gowanus Ballroom’s Architecture of Devotion exhibition June 24 to July 3, 2011. Its going to be an AMAZING SHOW! Not only will there be giant sculptures, stained glass, paintings embellished with gilt adornment, modern reinventions of medieval retables, a cabinet of curiosities, and an enchanted grotto, there will also be amazing musical guests! At the last Gowanus Ballroom show I danced for 2 hours strait! So fun!
The opening reception is Friday June 24, 6:00pm, I hope to see you there. 😉

The Architecture of Devotion features emerging Brooklyn artists working in styles and techniques that recall religious and devotional art of the past. The exhibition transforms the cathedral-like Gowanus Ballroom, a nineteenth century steel mill and current home of Serrett Metalworks, to interrogate various representations of the sacred and profane.
