I have been extremely fortunate to get to explore beautiful Greece.
While spending time on the Island of Tinos I have been painting the inspirational landscapes of this mythical country.
Self Portrait Carving the Caryatids at the Parthenon
The Ancient Architectural Ruins of Olympia.
The School of Marble Sculpture on the Island of Tinos.
These paintings are large scale so I am able to play around with many different painting techniques. The most fun and messy process is my Pollock like splattering.
These are some ancient windmills near the School of Marble Sculpture
All of the Greek landscapes I have made here so far (working on a new one of Delphi)
My Surrealist Series is coming along.. Below are some in progress paintings.
I have been having fun creating my own version of a classic painting by Henry Alexander made 100 years before I was born in 1887.
This painting is still also in progress. I placed myself in the painting and I am planning to add some magical elements along with the ravens, books, stained glass and cat.
These still have a lot of work to go.. but they are some of my favorites.
