“Mermaid observing Rainbow Twilight” oil on canvas, 30x24inches
I was asked to create a painting inspired by my friends home. Her beautiful home was decorated lavishly with color, sea shells and shiny things. Now color, fantasy and shiny things are my favorite things and I wanted to have fun with this one. I arranged the composition and subject matter in my mind and combined my observations of sunset prisms, coral reef formations, moon shadows, the female figure and golden fish. I hope to create another fantasy painting soon.
I know that my patron will enjoy her mermaid lagoon.
